You deserve to be able to ENJOY the days leading up to your big event. You deserve to live your life and have an expert spend the time planning the best day ever for you.

You deserve that.

So let's talk about what you need to know about working with a Planner to determine if it's the best next step for YOU:

  1. Do you get excited at the thought of creating your big day by yourself, negotiating with all vendors, reviewing contracts, determining a color scheme and the vision to portray to everyone involved? Or would you prefer to have a partner with the expertise and experience to make the vision go even further?

  2. Do you have the time to spend emailing with all vendors, making check lists and getting on phone calls / zooms with people you “hope” are good?

  3. Remove the notion that it's “expensive to have a Planner.” Considering all of the work the Planner is going to do for you, the relationships that Planners have with vendors (which means an “in” and some great deals), and the fact that you'll have an automatic go to person for all of your event needs, it's far too expensive NOT to have a Planner by your side!

  4. Are you someone who would consider themselves very organized? Planning an event requires a ton of organization, follow up, and attention to detail - is this you?

  5. Self reflection time! Consider your desire to release control. What I mean by that is that if you are someone who likes to be in total control of every step, having a Planner may not be the right move. If you are excited to have someone guide you, it may be a great move for you! Determine whether you are someone who would get excited at the thought of someone / a team creating the event of a lifetime for you, with fresh ideas and specialization in Event Planning.

  6. If, after reviewing the above, you decide that you would love to work with a Planner, look at the websites and social media of those you're most interested in and write down your top choices of who you would like to speak with (Always speak with those you're considering! A Planner is who you will have the most contact with and you want to make sure you have a great relationship.). Who has the personality you would connect most with? Which business focuses on what you're most interested in? For example, Smiling Through Chaos is a style-based company, with a focus on decor and color schemes (and of course keeping you smiling!).

What we hear most often when clients book us for Month-Of-Coordination is that they wish they had hired us to plan their entire wedding (This is probably why most of our clients are now Full or Partial Planning clients!). Why wait until you're stressed?
