The photography style you choose for your big day will showcase your wedding or event in a very specific way, so it’s super important to review the many styles of event photography before deciding on the one for yours. There’s no “best way” or “right way,” as it has to be what YOU are looking for.

It’s similar to deciding on a Wedding or Event Planner. You don’t want to just “choose a Planner” or “choose a Photographer.”You want to choose the one that best fits YOU and EXCITES you. The last thing you want to do is choose one and ask them to be someone they aren’t - like asking a photographer who specializes in light and airy to photograph in a dark and edgy way. It’d be a much better idea to book the style that you want rather than trying to change someone into that (like any relationship!). After deciding on the style, making sure you feel comfortable with the photographer is key so you show that in FRONT of the camera.

And remember, you may have different sides to your personality that likes different styles, and that’s great! It may mean that for your birthday event you have a certain type of photographer while for your wedding you have a different style.
