Smiling Through Chaos Oatmeal Energizer!

Super energizing breakfast alert!

Boil 3 cups of water and pour 1.5 cups of oatmeal. I use an organic oatmeal that only take a few minutes to cook (Clients, ask which one!).

While that is cooking, pour chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, and cacao powder into a medium size bowl. I recommend using a glass or metal bowl so you aren't heating plastic and putting that into your food :(

 

Once the oatmeal is finished cooking, pour into the bowl and mix with a wooden spoon. 

Pour cinnamon (Use as much as you'd like - great benefits!), Paleo chocolate granola, and peanut butter in, and mix up.

Add a drop of Manuka honey for a little sweetness and cold-fighting health benefits (Everyone has colds or the stomach virus around us right now!) and mix together. 

Take 1/3-1/4 of the mixture and add to a bowl, topping it off with sliced banana.
